Giannis Botos

Botos, 22, was a central figure in Go Ahead Eagles promotion run to the Eredivisie, contributing 4 goals, 3 assists, and 3 won penalties since joining mid-season. The Dutch side was tenth in the Eerste Divisie, Holland’s second division, when Botos arrived on loan from AEK Athens, where he spent 10 years apart of their youth academy. Giannis signed his first professional contract with AEK Athens at 17 years old. He has appeared for Greece at multiple youth levels and is currently a leading figure in the Greece U21 set-up.
